Clostridium difficile infection is associated with graft loss in solid organ transplant recipients
American Journal of Transplantation Jan 24, 2018
Cusini, A, et al. - Within the Swiss Transplant Cohort Study (STCS), researchers assessed the incidence, risk factors and outcome of Clostridium difficile infection (CDI). Despite mild clinical presentations, recipients acquiring CDI post-transplantation had an increased risk of graft loss. Findings could assist in improving the management of solid organ transplant recipients.
