Lu S, et al. - This trial was conducted in order to ascertain if the serum interleukin-6 (IL-6) speculated a favorable response to immunosuppressive therapy (IST) in children with aplastic anemia (AA). A favorable response was predicted via high levels of IL-6 at the time of diagnosis. This data could be beneficial for patientÂs stratification and clinical decisions.
