Elevated pulse pressure, intraoperative hemodynamic perturbations, and acute kidney injury after coronary artery bypass grafting surgery
Journal of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia Nov 14, 2017
Smeltz AM, et al. - This study was undertaken to assess baseline pulse pressure (PP) as a risk amplifier for acute kidney injury (AKI), independent of intraoperative hypotension or hypertension, in patients who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery. In this patient population, a significant association of baseline PP with postoperative AKI was evident, independent of weighted duration of intraoperative hypotension or hypertension.
