Zhang T, et al. - This trial was initiated in order to illustrate the prognostic significance of haptoglobin (Hp) on acute cerebral infarction. Based on the yielded data, it was determined that the peripheral circulation concentration of Hp could serve as an independent prognostic factor for acute cerebral infarction. Nevertheless, no correlation was discovered between Hp phenotyping and prognosis in this disease.
