Bustan Y, et al. - In this work, researchers aim to report the association between psychosis and inflammatory proxy-markers in adolescents. They notice a decrease in inflammatory proxy-markers during clinical remission from psychosis. Data thereby suggest an association of psychosis with peripheral markers of inflammation early in the course of psychiatric pathology. Furthermore, it appeared that inflammation might represent a state that accompanied psychosis and reduced during clinical remission.
