Elevated expression of neuropilin-2 associated with unfavorable prognosis in hepatocellular carcinoma

Dong X, et al. – The clinicians undertook this study in order to explore the expression and clinicopathological significance of neuropilin–2 (NRP2) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients. They suggested that NRP2 expression was considered as an independent factor for the prediction of unfavorable prognosis in HCC patients. Thus, NRP2 could serve as a biomarker of poor prognosis and a novel target in treating HCC tumors.
