Elastosonography and two-dimensional ultrasonography in diagnosis of axillary lymph node metastasis in breast cancer
Clinical Radiology Nov 15, 2017
Zhao QL, et al. - This study is planned to perform comparison of diagnostic value of two-dimensional (2D) ultrasonography and elastosonography for suspected axillary lymph node metastasis of breast cancer. Findings suggest that elastosonography is a feasible and convenient technique. When it is combined with 2D ultrasonography, the differential diagnosis of axillary lymph node would be improved. Thus, researchers recommend combining the two methods in clinics to assess axillary lymph nodes in patients with suspected breast cancer.
