Efficiency of physiotherapy with Caycedian sophrology on children with asthma: A randomized controlled trial

Romieu H, et al. - Whether or not peak expiratory flow (PEF) improves more in children with asthma after a sophrology session with standard treatment than after standard treatment alone was determined. An increase was noted in the PEF by a mean of 30 L/min in the sophrology group compared to 20 L/min in the control group. Thus, sophrology served as a promising adjuvant therapy for the treatment of asthma in children.
