Sesel AL, et al. - Researchers, in this study, assessed the efficacy of psychosocial therapies for people with multiple sclerosis (MS) (PwMS). findings revealed that psychosocial interventions had a marked, positive impact across a range of outcomes for PwMS with small, yet consistent, effect sizes. Some findings suggested cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to be less efficacious than other interventions. However, this could be due to smaller treatment doses in CBT studies.
