So YK, et al. - The objective of this work was to ascertain if adjuvant radiotherapy (RT) was efficacious for regional control and survival in patients with pN0 oral tongue cancer. More frequent unfavorable factors were revealed in this study. However, the neck radiotherapy (RT)-positive group reported a comparable oncologic outcome to the neck RT-negative group. This data pointed towards a possible marginal benefit in regional control from extending the RT field to the neck for pN0 oral tongue cancer.
