Dissard A, Dang NP, Barthelemy I, et al. - In the present study, the researchers sought to prospectively evaluate the effectiveness of pentoxifylline–tocopherol–clodronate (PENTOCLO) in mandibular osteoradionecrosis (ORN). Between January 2014 and February 2017, 27 patients with mandibular ORN following upper-airway cancer treatment, followed in two centers, were prospectively involved in the Pentoclauvergne study. According to this prospective cohort study, for mandibular ORN, PENTOCLO is a simple, well‐tolerated, and effective treatment.
