Saito B, et al. - A prospective clinical trial was designed to determine the efficacy of palonosetron to prevent delayed nausea and vomiting in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in patients receiving the CHOP regimen. As per findings, the antiemetic effects during the delayed phase were inferior to those in the acute phase during the first cycle. However, there appeared an increase in complete response and complete control rates in the second cycle even at the same dose of palonosetron.
