Gojaseni P, et al. – A single–center study was designed to investigate whether a prescription of low–dose cinacalcet on alternate days could be an option for treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism (HPT). Initial treatment with cinacalcet 25 mg on alternate days had the potential to decrease serum parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels for the aforementioned disease condition.
