Efficacy of low-dose 5-fluorouracil/cisplatin therapy for invasive extramammary Paget's disease
The Journal of Dermatology May 24, 2018
Kato H, et al. - Authors assessed the effectiveness of combination 5-fluorouracil (500 mg/body, 7 days/week) and cisplatin (5 mg/body 5 days/week) for invasive extramammary Paget's disease (EMPD). They retrospectively analyzed EMPD patients with multiple metastases who visited the dermatology clinic between October 2004 and May 2016. The mean age was 76.9 years. Findings suggested low risk and relatively high disease control rate of this regimen. This regimen could be recommended as one of the treatment options for advanced EMPD.
