Zhang J, et al. - The authors performed this comparative study to investigate the efficacy of combined orthodontic-periodontic treatment in the treatment of patients with periodontitis and its effects on the levels of inflammatory cytokines. In the treatment of periodontitis, combined orthodontic-periodontic treatment had good clinical efficacy. It could effectively decrease the levels of inflammatory cytokines.
