Chen L, et al. - In this meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials contrasting duloxetine with placebo for knee OA, researchers intended to estimate the effectiveness and tolerability of duloxetine in individuals with knee OA. In total 2,059 candidates were pooled in six randomized controlled trials. To manage chronic pain and loss of physical function in knee OA, duloxetine was discovered as effective in the administration along with acceptable adverse events irrespective of having a disadvantage in treating joint stiffness.
