Lupercio F, et al. - An inquiry was set up with regard to the efficacy and safety of drug-drug interaction by the concomitant use of direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) and amiodarone. It was deduced that the co-administration of DOACs and amiodarone, a dual P-glycoprotein/cytochrome p-450 (P-gp/CYP3A4) inhibitor, did not influence the efficacy or safety outcomes in patients with atrial fibrillation.
