Shaker TM, et al. - Authors planned this prospective, randomized controlled trial to compare patient outcomes for thoracic epidural anesthesia (TEA) with transversus abdominis plane (TAP) blocks. In the current work, compared to TEA, TAP block use seemed associated with lower parenteral morphine equivalent usage and reduced incidence of hypotension in the early post-operative period.
