American Journal of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Medicine and Surgery Sep 05, 2019
Zhang YZ, et al. - In children with mono- or polysensitized allergic rhinitis, researchers analyzed the safety and effectiveness of sublingual house dust mite (HDM) drops utilizing symptoms score and medication score. From January 2015 to June 2016, 65 children with monosensitized AR and 118 children with polysensitized AR who were scheduled for sublingual administration of HDM drops were included. In both monosensitized and polysensitized AR patients (Chinese children), this retrospective cohort study confirmed the effectiveness and safety of sublingual AIT. In both groups, sublingual HDM drops were generally safe and well tolerant.
