Labrosse R, et al. - This inquiry entailed an assessment of the safety and efficacy of a 5-day challenge to amoxicillin and the proportion of subsequent use of amoxicillin in children. In this study, nonimmediate amoxicillin allergy was ruled out with 5-day challenge, in a safe and effective manner. Also, 5-day challenge ensured a better compliance with future penicillin use.
