Saquetto MB, et al. - This research encompassed a verification of the effects of whole-body vibration (WBV) training on the muscle strength, bone mineral density (BMD) and content of children and adolescents presenting with Down syndrome. As per the outcomes, WBV training illustrated positive effects. An improvement was achieved in the muscle strength, BMD, body composition and balance of the study cohort through WBV training.
