Wang J, et al. - In a medium-to -ong-term follow-up study, the clinical effects of cervical spinal cord injuries without fracture and dislocation (CSCIWFD) treatment were assessed. Early surgical treatment directly relieved spinal cord compression, thus improving blood supply to the spinal cord and avoiding secondary damage. Medium-to-long-term follow-up visits demonstrated that surgery clearly promotes decompression.
