Zhang J, et al. - The precise role of testosterone supplement treatment (TST) in hypogonadal men with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) was assessed in this review. Findings suggested that in hypogonadal patients with T2DM, TST could improve the glycemic control by reducing the homeostatic model assessment of insulin resistance, fasting glucose, fasting insulin and HbA1c% and decrease cholesterol and triglyceride. In these patients, researchers recommended TST during the anti-diabetic therapy.
