Lin J, et al. - The efficacy and safety of adjunctive tandospirone were evaluated in individuals with major depressive disorder (MDD) and high level of anxiety symptoms. In this study, short-term tandospirone augmentation was effective and well-tolerated. Researchers suggested that compared to monotherapy, tandospirone augmentation was superior in reducing depressive and anxiety symptoms, as well as, somatic anxiety symptoms.
