Rocco MV, et al. - The researchers investigated the effects of intensive blood pressure (BP) treatment on acute kidney injury (AKI) events. More frequent episodes of AKI were caused due to more intensive BP lowering. It was noted that most cases were mild and complete recovery of kidney function was seen in most participants.
