Hochuli M, et al. – This study assessed the impacts on nutrient supply of attenuated intake of amino acid mixture (AAM) in adult phenylketonuria (PKU) patients. Among study participants, insufficient nutrient supply was found to be associated with relaxed AAM intake, however, a compensatory increase in consumption of natural protein was also observed.
