Effects of ground-based walking training on daily physical activity in people with COPD: A randomised controlled trial

Wootton SL, et al. - In this study, researchers assessed the changes in physical activity (PA) and sedentary time (ST) in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients following ground-based walking training. Findings revealed that ground-based walking training alone had little if any clinically important impact on daily PA and no influence on ST in this patient population.
