Pecotic R, et al. - The impact of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) on long-term cognitive and psychomotor performances, and excessive daytime sleepiness in severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) patients were examined prospectively. Improved cognitive and psychomotor performance on CRD-series tests was noted among those who received CPAP therapy for OSA. The most significant improvement was observed in complex psychomotor limb coordination of severe OSA patients.
