Tonelli R, et al. - This study intended to validate rehabilitation as an effective strategy for patients with Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILDs) and investigated the possible prognostic impact of baseline exercise capacity, disease severity or ILD etiology. Comprehensive rehabilitation was corroborated to be feasible and effective in patients with ILD of different severity and etiology. In this heterogeneous population, an inverse correlation of baseline submaximal exercise capacity with both functional and symptom gains was evident.
