Tsuji Y, Kawaratani H, Ishida K, et al. - In patients with platelet counts of ≥ 50,000/µL, researchers analyzed the efficacy of lusutrombopag administration. Thirty-six patients who received lusutrombopag for the chronic liver disease were evaluated. Changes in platelet counts were assessed. Twenty-five of the patients had platelet counts ≥ 50,000/µL. The data presented in this work showed lusutrombopag's efficacy, which had no complications. This study is the first to note that in patients with platelet counts ≥ 50,000/µL and < 50,000/µL the efficacy of lusutrombopag was the same. During lusutrombopag administration, no adverse reaction was noted.
