La Mantia I, et al. - An inspection was performed with regard to the effects of sodium hyaluronate on nasal problems that patients experienced in their daily lives, sleepiness, nasal resistance to airflow, nasal mucociliary clearance, changes in inflammatory markers, and compliance to continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) in three groups of patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome on CPAP therapy. Substantial benefits were illustrated by the intranasal hyaluronate in patients who received CPAP therapy. In order to ascertain these results, advanced research was warranted.
