Ishii N, et al. – The effectiveness of endoscopic treatment for colonic diverticular bleeding (CDB) was assessed in this systematic review. Compared to clipping, ligation therapy was more effective to avoid transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) or surgery. In terms of effectiveness for initial hemostasis and preventing early recurrent bleeding, coagulation, clipping, and ligation were equivocal.
