Yek C, et al. - This trial entailed the characterization of the effectiveness of direct-acting antivirals (DAAs) in a socioeconomically disadvantaged and underinsured patient cohort. The findings indicated the possibility of achieving effective outcomes with DAA-based therapy in difficult-to-treat underinsured populations, followed in resource-constrained safety-net health systems.
