Rodriguez–Cristobal JJ, et al. – In this current study, a motivational intervention plus current clinical practice was compared with a traditional intervention, as a strategy to treat overweight and obesity and to attenuate cardiovascular risk factors associated with overweight and obesity. Findings of this investigation underscored the significance of the group motivational interview in the treatment of overweight /obese patients in primary care, as well as, in improving their associated cardiovascular risks factors.
