Eknithiset R, et al. – The impact of a pictorial diary handbook (PDHB) program was investigated among middle–aged and elderly patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) type 2 in primary care units in Thailand. In elderly patients with DM type 2, an attenuation in HbA1c, along with improvement in the mean score of knowledge and practice was evident, as a consequence of the PDHB program.
