Thakrar C, et al. - This trial resolved to contemplate the effectiveness and occurrence of drug-related side effects of stimulant therapy, as monotherapy and in combination, in the central hypersomnias. Satisfactory symptom control could be achieved via monotherapy in maximum patients with central hypersomnia. However, prominent side effects were a common occurrence. It was disclosed that the combination therapy was a beneficial and safe option in patients with refractory symptoms.
