Coleman CI, et al. - The effectiveness and safety of rivaroxaban vs warfarin were comprehensively evaluated in frail patients experiencing venous thromboembolism in routine practice. It was deduced that frail patients experiencing an venous thromboembolism and given rivaroxaban reported less recurrent venous thromboembolism, displaying at least as good bleeding outcomes, as patients who were prescribed warfarin.
