Nagabhushan RM, et al. - The effectiveness and safety of batroxobin (botropase), tranexamic acid (TXA), and their combination were assessed and compared for reducing the perioperative blood loss in lumbar spine single level fusion surgeries. The perioperative blood loss was notably reduced by the batroxobin and combination of batroxobin with tranexamic acid when compared with placebo.
