Chivasso P, et al. - The efficacy, as well as the safety of aprotinin, was assessed in adult patients undergoing thoracic aortic surgery. Findings demonstrated a limited impact of aprotinin on reducing postoperative bleeding and prevention of major bleeding events. Notably, no adverse impact was evident on early outcomes and long-term survival.
