Chen YR, et al. - Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients who consumed selective and nonselective nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) were examined for the risk of stroke and acute myocardial infarction (AMI) resulting from transient impacts of these agents. An increased risk of both stroke and AMI was noted in RA patients in association with the use of nonselective NSAIDs.
