Effect of the midazolam addition the propofol-based sedation in esophagogastroduodenoscopy: A randomized trial

Kim EH, et al. - The purpose of this work was to analyze whether administration of midazolam would improve safety and efficacy of propofol-based sedation in esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD). Researchers recognized that midazolam addition to propofol did not reduce the safety and efficacy. During diagnostic EGD, sedation using propofol alone could be suitable.
