de Valence T, et al. - This study was performed to determine the effect of adding sufentanil during anaesthesia induction with propofol on bispectral index values in elderly patients (≥ 65 years). Findings demonstrated that as a consequence of sufentanil co-induction with propofol in elderly patients, higher bispectral index values were evident at loss of consciousness.
