Wang X, et al. – This study entails the determination of the impact of small–dose levosimendan without a loading dose on mortality rates and organ functions in Chinese elderly patients with sepsis. According to findings, small–dose levosimendan was suggested to be valuable for Chinese elderly patients with sepsis; it could not attenuate the mortality rates or enhance the respiratory, liver, renal, and coagulation functions, but could shorten the intensive care unit (ICU) days and hospital stay, and improve the cardiovascular function.
