Rosenbaum CM, et al. - Researchers strived to contemplate the consequence of repeat multiple biopsy sessions (Bx) on functional outcomes after radical prostatectomy (RP). Erectile dysfunction (ED) and urinary incontinence (UI) rates were discovered to be comparable among patients undergoing RP after initial and repeat Bx sessions. This data was crucial during the counseling of active surveillance (AS) patients. The findings revealed that no adverse functional outcomes were expected if AS was to be discontinued and RP as a curative option was discerned.
