Zhong Q, et al. - A comparative scrutiny was conducted of the effects of preoperative visiting operation room (PVOR) to the administration of propofol at the end of anesthesia on emergence agitation (EA) in preschool children under sevoflurane anesthesia. An effective reduction could be gained in incidence of EA as well as administration of propofol via PVOR, without additional medical expenses and other adverse effects.
