Ilany J, et al. - Researchers aimed to evaluate the effect of prandial treatment timing adjustment in patients with type 2 diabetes uncontrolled on once-daily basal insulin, based on continuous glucose monitoring. In terms of glycemic control or safety, using CGM sensor among these patients for identifying the meal with highest glucose excursion and adjusting the prandial insulin treatment timing did not show any advantage.
