Kadletz L, et al. – The specialists explored the effects of postoperative radiotherapy for patients with intermediate–stage oropharyngeal carcinoma. Patients with p16–negative tumors probably benefit from postoperative radiotherapy, in terms of disease–free survival. Whereas, survival of p16–positive patients was good regardless of additional treatment.
