Effect of personality traits on adherence with positive airway pressure therapy in obstructive sleep apnea patients

Copur AS, et al. – The aim of the present study was to explore the association between positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy adherence and patient personality traits. The results of this study revealed that behavioral activation system–fun seeking (BAS–FS), negative affect, and intellect/imagination were significant factors for adherence to PAP therapy in obstructive sleep apnea patients.
