Keskin M, et al. – The goal of this investigation was to gauge the impact of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) grade on in–hospital and long–term outcomes in patients with ST–segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). As per findings, NAFLD was associated with unfavorable clinical outcomes in STEMI patients. Among these patients, mortality rates were reported to be highest in those with Grade 3 NAFLD. Findings supported NAFLD screening in patients with STEMI.
