Yin P, et al. - This trial entailed the investigation of the effect of serum HDL-C levels on lupus nephritis (LN) patients. The results exhibited the connection between high HDL-C levels with increased risk of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in LN patients with advanced renal dysfunction. Herein, low HDL-C levels displayed a correlation with an increased risk of all-cause mortality in LN patients.
